My Name is Andy Crawford and I have been making UltraShades in my one man shop since 2012. I made the first shade for our own boat, adapting a fabric from the film industry that I thought would make great shade.

I worked for 34 years in the movie industry and had at least a decade of experience with the fabric I use before I used it to make the first UltraShade. I know that it’s very tough and lasts a really long time, even in tropic sun.

I have been sailing for nearly 60 years. I am passionate about boats and make shades that I would be proud to have on my own boat. The UltraShade really works and if you trust me with your business, I will work hard to make sure that you get the best shade available.
